Cheiron Studio To Close
Swedan's Cheiron Studio, where artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, LFO and N Sync among others, will be closing its doors due to emotional reasons, "partly because of the death of Denniz PoP two years ago," studio co-owner Tom Talomaa told a radio station. PoP owned the Cheiron label until his death at the age of 34 from cancer. PoP has brought in top recording producers such as Max Martin, 29, among others. You might know Martin's work from producing #1 hits such as "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys, "Oops!...I Did It Again" by Britney Spears, "That's The Way It Is" by Celine Dion, and "I Want You Back" by N Sync. "They've decided to split up and go their separate ways," Radio Stockholm entertainment correspondent Viktor Pertovski told Reuters. Talomaa and Cheiron were not immediately available for comment. Cheiron is part of the Swedish pop music phenomenon that also produced ABBA and Ace Of Base -- another Cheiron name. (Source:Yahoo)

BSB Win Teen Choice Awards
This past weekend, the second annual Teen Choice Awards were taped. The Backstreet Boys came out with one award for Album Of The Year for their album "Millennium." There is no word on whether any of the Backstreet Boys showed up at the awards show. Other big winners included N Sync, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Freddie Prinze Jr. The Teen Choice Awards air on Tuesday, August 22nd on FOX.

Teen People's Celebrity Beauty Awards
In the current September 2000 issue of Teen People, you'll see who won their vote for best lips, eyes, hair, skin and more. Kevin Richardson won the vote for Best Facial Hair with actor Brad Pitt. Other winners included Jessica Simpson, Drew Barrymore and Laura Prepon for Most Natural Beauties. The magazine is on newstands now.

Tyke and Litty are back home
From www.olive-juice.com: To those who helped with the recovery of Tyk Thomas and Litty Leigh.... thank you. The two dogs were found in different places and they are now safe in the hands of their owners Leighanne and Brian.

Tyke and Litty (Brian's Chihuahuas) are Missing
Missing:
Tyke: Chihuahua, male, blonde/cream, approximately 4lbs.
Litty: Chihuahua, female, blonde/cream, approximately 3lbs.
These two dogs have been missing from their Atlanta, GA area home since the afternoon of Wednesday, July 19th. If you have any information on their whereabouts PLEASE contact the webmaster or BSB@artistdirect.com. These dogs mean the world to their owners and we appreciate your help in finding them.
